GLASSWARE CROCKERY BRAND CASE STUDY

La Opala Packaging Box Design

The Desire for beautiful things is universal; with this vision, the brand keeps its fingers on the consumer's pulse to track innovative and creative demands. 1986 Mr Sushil Jhunjhunwala, curious for things radically different and new, was enamoured by 'opal glass' on a foreign business trip. Being a visionary with an eye for innovation, the idea of opal tableware travelled back with him to India. La Opala has gone beyond Opal glassware to being perceived as a "Designer Collection", still playing an existing leader in the Indian tableware market.

Challenge

  • Focus on umbrella branding.
  • To enhance Brand uniformity in each product category.
  • International competitors present with their established brands.
  • They want to complete brand design for their "cook N serve" and "Solitaire ware".

Solution

DesignerPeople strategized to design packaging according to its value proposition. Solitaire ware is enriched with elite-looking packaging colours, Vibrant yet bold "Black" uniform pattern was utilized for optimum results with various other sub-brands. The photoshoot was done to enhance brand identity through images and correct conceptualization. Packaging design for Quadra, Ivory and Classique is done based on their brand positioning.
